Simple 301 Redirects

აღწერა

Simple 301 Redirects provides an easy method of redirecting requests to another page on your site or elsewhere on the web. It’s especially handy when you migrate a site to WordPress and can’t preserve your URL structure. By setting up 301 redirects from your old pages to your new pages, any incoming links will be seemlessly passed along, and their pagerank (or what-have-you) will be passed along with them.

Does not appear to work

When I put in /%category%/%year%/%postname%/, it turns it into /tegory%/%year%/%postname%/ for some reason. That makes no sense, and unsurprisingly, does not work.

Works great, no drama

I like that it doesn’t have any bells and whistles. It does one thing — redirects — and that’s all I need.

No Longer Working

Same as others, plugin has stopped working. Used to work great. RIP, Simple 301 Redirects.

Used to work well

now it doesn’t (as of this review, June 2018). Wish it still worked. I switched to a plugin called “redirections” that does pretty much the same thing. Thanks for several years of a good plugin, unfortunately this one seems to be RIP.
