Rekomi: Affiliate Marketing and Referral Programs for WooCommerce

აღწერა

Rekomi gives your WooCommerce store a sales team that only gets paid when you do.

Your happiest customers, favorite creators, and best partners already recommend your products. Rekomi makes it official: each of them gets a personal link and a real coupon code, every sale they bring in is tracked automatically, and they earn a commission only when you earn revenue. No ad budget burned on clicks that never convert.

Setup takes about ten minutes, needs no code and no developer, and your store keeps its own checkout, gateways, and coupons. Connect once and everything runs from the Rekomi page in wp-admin: campaigns, affiliates, coupons, conversions, payouts, and reports, without ever leaving WordPress.

Why store owners pick Rekomi

  • You only pay for results. Commission goes out on delivered sales, and refunded orders claw their commission back automatically. The incentives stay honest in both directions.
  • Live in minutes, not weekends. Install, click Connect, create your campaign, invite your first affiliate. That is the entire project.
  • The busywork is gone. Tracking, commission math, refund adjustments, payouts in 165+ countries, and affiliate tax forms all happen for you. Most affiliate programs quietly die in a spreadsheet; yours will not have one.
  • Your affiliates will actually promote. Real store coupon codes for creators, a live dashboard where partners watch their earnings grow, and payouts that arrive on time keep them posting.

Tracking that just works

  • Automatic affiliate tracking. Every WooCommerce order is attributed to the right affiliate, on every payment method your store accepts: WooPayments, Stripe, PayPal, Square, cash on delivery, all of them. No code, nothing to paste, nothing to break.
  • Real store coupon codes. Each affiliate gets personal discount codes minted as native WooCommerce coupons, including product-limited codes and per-coupon commission rates. Coupon sales attribute even when nobody clicked a link, which is how creators actually sell.
  • Affiliate links. Every affiliate gets their own referral link, with tracking that runs first-party on your own domain so attribution holds up even against ad blockers.
  • Recurring commissions. WooCommerce Subscriptions renewals keep paying the referring affiliate for as long as the customer stays.
  • Refund-proof math. Refunds claw back commission automatically and precisely: a partial refund reverses exactly the refunded items’ share.

Money, handled end to end

  • Payouts, done. Rekomi pays your affiliates for you in 165+ countries via bank deposit, Stripe, or PayPal, with refund-aware holds so money never leaves before the refund window closes. You approve, it pays. No spreadsheets, no PayPal marathons.
  • Tax forms, handled. Rekomi collects W-9/W-8 forms and handles year-end tax documents for your affiliates, so tax season is not your problem.
  • Flexible commissions. Percentage or flat rate, per-product rates, recurring, first-sale-only, tiered rewards, even pay-per-click and pay-per-lead campaigns.
  • Multi-currency. Sell in any of 135+ supported currencies (the full list is in the docs); orders in a currency Rekomi does not support are skipped, never guessed at, and commissions convert cleanly to your home currency.

Grow the program

  • Branded signup pages. Recruit through a hosted, customizable affiliate signup page, with your own custom domain if you want it.
  • An affiliate dashboard affiliates love. Affiliates see their links, codes, clicks, sales, leads, and earnings in real time, and you can message them right on the platform.
  • Sub-affiliate recruiting. Let your best partners recruit more partners and earn an override on what their recruits drive.
  • Fraud screening built in. Device fingerprinting and click-quality scoring flag self-referrals and junk traffic before they cost you money.
  • Reports that answer questions. Revenue, top affiliates, traffic sources, and trends in clear reports, inside wp-admin.
  • Switching is easy. Migration importers bring your affiliates and history over from 20+ other affiliate platforms.
  • Works without WooCommerce too: on non-store sites the plugin installs the Rekomi tracking snippet for you.

If you have been comparing every WordPress affiliate plugin and dreading the setup, this is the short version: install, click Connect, invite your first affiliate. Your store keeps its checkout, its gateways, and its coupons; Rekomi handles the tracking, the math, and the money. The full walkthrough lives in the WooCommerce setup guide.

Rekomi is complete affiliate management, not just link tracking. Recruit partners through your branded signup page, reward customer referrals, set recurring commissions on subscriptions, and let automatic payouts close the loop. It is affiliate marketing for WooCommerce without the spreadsheet work.

Rekomi is a paid service. This plugin is the connector to your Rekomi account (plans from $29/month, free trial included; see https://rekomi.com/pricing). Connecting creates your workspace automatically; if you already have a Rekomi account, you sign in once to link it.

External services

This plugin connects your site to the Rekomi service. No data is sent anywhere until you click Connect on the Rekomi admin page. When you click Connect, your site URL and your wp-admin email address are sent to Rekomi to create or link your workspace, and Rekomi verifies the site by calling back to its REST API.

After you connect, the plugin communicates with:

  • https://api.rekomi.com: order and refund data (order id, totals, currency, line items, coupon codes, customer name/email/id, referral attribution), coupon commands, product catalog and top-customer reads for your own dashboard, and connection health. The visitor-facing tracking script (/api/v1/r/loader.js) is also loaded from this host so attribution fixes reach your site without plugin updates.
  • https://app.rekomi.com: the account sign-in used during Connect, and dashboard links.
  • https://rekomi-uploads-prod.nyc3.digitaloceanspaces.com: Rekomi’s static asset host (a DigitalOcean Spaces bucket operated by Rekomi). The wp-admin dashboard loads images from it: help-panel screenshots and the logos shown in the migration importer. Loading an image sends only the standard browser request (your IP address and user agent) to DigitalOcean; this happens only inside wp-admin after you connect, never on your public site. DigitalOcean Terms of Service: https://www.digitalocean.com/legal/terms-of-service-agreement. DigitalOcean Privacy Policy: https://www.digitalocean.com/legal/privacy-policy.

Provider: Rekomi (Uplup Inc.). Terms of Service: https://rekomi.com/legal/terms. Privacy Policy: https://rekomi.com/legal/privacy.

One optional surface makes an additional connection: if you open the affiliate signup-page designer inside the dashboard and your page theme uses a Google Font, the live preview loads that font from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com), exactly as your public signup page does. No other admin screen contacts any third party.

The plugin sets one first-party cookie, rekomi_wp_ref (90 days), remembering which affiliate referred a visitor. The plugin integrates with the WP Consent API: when a consent-management plugin is active, tracking waits for marketing consent.

Source code

The admin dashboard bundled with this plugin (assets/app/rekomi-app.js) is compiled from a React and TypeScript application. The complete human-readable source and build tooling for the exact shipped bundle are available at https://rekomi.com/downloads/rekomi-admin-app-src-0.9.27.tar.gz (build with npm ci then npm run build; Vite emits the bundle into the plugin’s assets/app directory).

დაყენება

  1. Install and activate the plugin.
  2. Open Rekomi in your admin menu and click Connect to Rekomi.
  3. That’s it: your workspace is created and connected automatically, and tracking, coupons, and your affiliate program are live from the Rekomi page. (Already have a Rekomi account? You sign in once to link the site.)

ხდკ

Do I need a Rekomi account?

Rekomi is a paid service (plans from $29/month with a free trial); the plugin is the connector. Clicking Connect creates your workspace automatically, and everything is managed right here in WordPress. We email you a link to add a Rekomi login for the web dashboard; if your email already has a Rekomi account, you sign in once to link the site.

Can affiliates promote with coupon codes instead of affiliate links?

Yes, and it’s one of Rekomi’s favorite tricks. Every affiliate can get personal discount codes minted as real WooCommerce coupons, so a creator saying “use code MAYA10” earns commission even when nobody clicks a link. Links and codes work side by side.

How do affiliate payouts work?

Rekomi pays your affiliates for you in 165+ countries via bank deposit, Stripe, or PayPal, and handles their tax forms too. Commissions accrue with refund-aware holds, clawbacks happen automatically when orders are refunded, and you approve payouts in one click. No spreadsheets and no manual PayPal runs.

Can I run a referral program for my customers too?

Yes. The same campaigns work as a customer referral program: invite customers to share their link or code and reward them for every friend who buys.

Does it work with my payment gateway?

Yes. Orders are tracked at the WooCommerce order level, so every gateway (WooPayments, Stripe, PayPal, Square, cash on delivery, and the rest) is covered automatically.

Does it work with the block checkout?

Yes, both the classic shortcode checkout and the block-based checkout are supported.

Does it work without WooCommerce?

Yes. On sites without WooCommerce the plugin installs the Rekomi tracking snippet (referral link tracking); conversions then come from whatever billing platform you connect to Rekomi (Stripe, Paddle, and others).

WooCommerce Subscriptions?

Yes, renewal orders keep crediting the referring affiliate as recurring commissions.

The connection fails with “Rekomi could not verify this site”

During Connect, Rekomi calls back to yoursite.com/wp-json/rekomi/v1/connect-verify to prove the site is yours. If a security plugin blocks anonymous REST API requests, allow the rekomi/v1 namespace and try again.

I run a vegan recipe blog with a WooCommerce shop and wanted a way for readers to send me customers. Rekomi was a simple install and connect. The orders started showing up under the right people right away and it even handles the payouts for me. Each blogger gets their own link and a portal where they can see their clicks and sales, so nobody has to ask me for numbers. Rekomi handles everything on my side and for the affiliates making really easy to manage.

We’ve been a Rekomi user for a few months now, and have been using it on the main site. So, when they launched the WordPress plugin, I was expecting it to be a light version of the site. But, it has everything from the main site inside the WordPress app. Now I can literally manage my entire Rekomi account inside the app (affiliates, payouts, campaigns, etc.). Their team did an amazing job building this plugin!

ცვლილებები

0.9.27

  • Payouts: when your funding bank was linked by signing in to the bank, the Payouts page shows the account holder and that ownership was confirmed the moment you linked it, plus the last balance reading. A payout run that a fresh balance reading cannot cover is refused with the amounts instead of failing days later.
  • Creator network: a campaign can be listed only once your plan is active and a funding source is set up; a listed campaign is paused, not delisted, if either lapses.
  • Embedded dashboard re-synced with the web app.

0.9.26

  • The Affiliates page import banner and the setup step name the platform you typed at sign-up when it is one Rekomi imports from, and open that importer.
  • Embedded dashboard re-synced with the web app.

0.9.25

  • Payouts: the funding notice now says what applies to your subscription (trial, past due, or no plan yet) and links the Subscription page. Stores billed by card get an Update payment method button on the Subscription page that opens the Stripe billing portal.
  • Get verified and the Rekomi web dashboard links on the Payouts page open the web dashboard on the funding tab.
  • Embedded dashboard re-synced with the web app.

0.9.24

  • The Conversions page opens on All and remembers the tab you used last; the selected tab is easier to spot.
  • Embedded dashboard re-synced with the web app.

0.9.23

  • Campaign cards say per lead or per click when that is what the campaign pays, and the campaign performance feed shows the same statuses as the Conversions page, so a lead that is only recorded for attribution never reads as pending money.
  • Embedded dashboard re-synced with the web app.

0.9.22

  • The Sales page is now Conversions, with Sales, Leads and Clicks tabs (the Leads and Clicks tabs appear once your program has any). A lead or click on a campaign that does not pay for it reads “Not paid on this campaign” instead of a money status, and campaign cards count sales, leads and paid clicks separately.
  • Embedded dashboard re-synced with the web app.

0.9.21

  • Payouts: bank-transfer funding is set up inside WordPress. Until your account is verified, the Payouts page offers Enable bank-transfer funding and then shows the account to send money to, with copy buttons; verified stores can choose a bank debit or bank transfer there too. Getting verified still happens in the Rekomi web dashboard, and the Payouts page says where a request stands.
  • Funding switches (linking a bank debit, enabling or disabling bank-transfer funding) need a WordPress administrator; shop managers keep running payouts.
  • Embedded dashboard re-synced with the web app.

0.9.20

  • Payouts: the funding step now follows your account state. Until your account is verified, the dashboard offers bank-transfer funding first and explains the holding period and the rolling cap; a linked bank debit is used once you are verified. Trial accounts see that payouts start with an active plan, and a paused account is told to contact support instead of being offered a bank link that cannot be used.
  • Payout runs: a run that cannot be funded is reported as not funded, never as started.
  • Embedded dashboard re-synced with the web app.

0.9.19

  • Campaigns can now pay for any combination of sales, leads and clicks. The commission section of the campaign form is a multi-select (Sales, Leads, Clicks) with its own rate for each, the deal is read back in one sentence, and the budget caps click and lead spend only. Paying per click makes a campaign invite-only.
  • Affiliates see every leg of the deal on their campaign page and invite, share the Rekomi tracking link whenever the campaign pays per click, and get a lead-form link beside any other leg.
  • Embedded dashboard re-synced with the web app.

0.9.18

  • Tracking: the loader script now carries your campaign settings in its URL (the campaign id and any custom attribution parameters), read from Rekomi once and refreshed in the background by WP-Cron. Email capture and custom parameters therefore apply on every page, including sites where a tag manager strips attributes, and a page render never waits on Rekomi.
  • Sales: a sale credited from a connected email or CRM platform’s own signup record (beehiiv, Kit, MailerLite, Ontraport, GoHighLevel) now shows the source “Platform match” in the Sales view instead of “Server”.
  • Embedded dashboard re-synced with the web app.

0.9.17

  • Fixed: fixed-amount affiliate coupons are now scaled with the store currency’s real number of decimals, read from the same currency table the Rekomi service uses. Stores priced in a three-decimal currency (Bahraini dinar, Jordanian dinar, Kuwaiti dinar, Omani rial, Tunisian dinar), in Icelandic krona, or in Malagasy ariary previously received a WooCommerce coupon worth the wrong amount (off by 10x or 100x). Update before creating fixed-amount coupons in one of those currencies.
  • Fixed: a fixed-amount coupon entered on the wp-admin Coupons page in a zero-decimal currency (Japanese yen, South Korean won, and others) created a store coupon worth 100x the amount typed. Amounts entered in wp-admin are now converted with the currency’s own decimals.
  • Fixed: order, line item, and refund amounts are sent to Rekomi at the store currency’s own precision, so three-decimal stores that price with three decimals keep the third decimal in commission and refund math instead of being rounded to two.
  • Affiliate earnings in currencies other than US dollars can now be paid from the wp-admin Payouts page: each run converts them to US dollars at the day’s stored exchange rate.
  • Currency pickers across the dashboard now list every supported currency (135+) with search.

0.9.16

  • One-click custom domain setup: when your DNS provider supports it, approve the record on their site and the plugin verifies it automatically – no copy-paste needed.
  • Clearer domain setup states: a progress badge while we verify, a retry button if certificate issuance hits a snag, and an early heads-up for Cloudflare users about proxied records.

0.9.15

  • Fixed: saving your signup page address in Settings no longer clears unsaved brand profile fields.
  • Affiliate lists now load rosters of any size (previously capped at 500) and show an exact affiliate count.
  • “Open on web” opens the Rekomi dashboard in a new tab instead of replacing your wp-admin.
  • New optional setup step pointing to the signup page editor, plus assorted dashboard refinements.

0.9.14

  • Manage your team right inside wp-admin: invite teammates, set roles, and see seat usage from Settings (administrators only).

0.9.13

  • Settings link on the Plugins-list row for one-click access to your Rekomi dashboard.

0.9.12

  • International payout funding options in the dashboard, an improved plan status chip, and assorted dashboard refinements.

0.9.11

  • All admin scripts now load through wp_enqueue_script; documented every external service in the readme.

0.9.10

  • Affiliate pages show the affiliate’s country with a flag, plus flags on application answers.

0.9.9

  • Campaign page section links scroll correctly; campaigns can be archived from Settings.

0.9.8

  • Smoother checkout return; the login-email notice is now dismissible.

0.9.7

  • Support link in the sidebar; in-app Support page.

0.9.6

  • Set up a custom domain for your affiliate signup pages right from Settings.

0.9.5

  • Campaigns can limit which countries affiliates may join from.

0.9.4

  • Facebook Page picker shows Page avatars and a clear selection state.

0.9.3

  • Signup-page builder fits the WordPress admin layout; section links match the sidebar URLs.

0.9.2

  • Typography and styling now match the Rekomi web dashboard throughout the admin.

0.9.1

  • Smoother connect approval flow, dismissible notices, and admin styling fixes.

0.9.0

  • Initial release: connect flow, automatic WooCommerce order + refund tracking, affiliate coupon minting (product scoping included), WooCommerce Subscriptions recurring commissions, reconciliation sync, WP Consent API support.
