You can install the Knowledge Base for Documents and FAQs from your WordPress Dashboard or manually upload it through FTP.

OPTION 1: Install Knowledgebase Plugin from WordPress Dashboard

  1. Navigate to Plugins -> Add New.
  2. Search for ‘Knowledge Base for Documents and FAQs’ and install the plugin.
  3. Activate the plugin in the Plugins menu.
  4. Optional step: configure the plugin in the Admin menu, in Knowledge Base -> KB Configuration page.

OPTION 2: Manually Upload Plugin Files

  1. Download the plugin file from the plugin page: echo-knowledge-base.zip.
  2. Unzip the file echo-knowledge-base.zip.
  3. Upload the ‘echo-knowledge-base’ folder to your ‘/wp-content/plugins’ directory (do not rename the folder).
  4. Optional step: configure the plugin in the Admin menu, in Knowledge Base -> KB Configuration page.

There's nothing NOT to love about this plugin. It is really on point, easily and intuitively understandable and even if you have a question the support is there for you in a very quick an professional way. Would give more stars if it was possible. Thank you for this great plugin!

We use Echo Knowledge Base for a growing catalog of important articles. EKB has a broad feature set that becomes much more robust when you utilize their shortcodes to embed their functionality into other pages. Recently we had a need to make a directory of our articles, but our finished product may be in the thousands, and we don't want to manually do that. I submitted a feature request, and within the month the developers had a shortcode for us that did exactly what we need. This plugin is worth the money, I can't say enough about how great they are at EKB!

I am very impressed by this plugin. Even the free version, that I'm using at the moment, is already amazing! It allows me to easily build a small online knowledgebase on my website, allows me to sort articles, make the design fit my website (colors, borders, even drop shadows) and works just perfect 'out of the box'. Seldom have I seen such a useful and easy to work with plugin. Wish I discovered it earlier on it would have saved me a lot of time and work. I suggest you make the free version 'donor ware' or include a tip-jar. I don't need more than this version offers, for now, but would have been happy to at least give something in return. Thumbs up to the creators and a well deserved 5+ stars!
