Beacon Bookings – Bookings & Rentals for WooCommerce

Beacon Bookings adds a Bookable product type to WooCommerce. Customers pick a date (and time), the number of people and, if you want, a room or a staff member, then check out like any other product. You get a bookings list, a calendar, emails with calendar files, and feeds you can subscribe to from Google Calendar.

It was built from what real store owners ask for in booking-plugin reviews. Everything they asked for is in the free plugin:

• No double bookings. Availability is checked when the slot is picked, held while it sits in the cart, and checked again under a lock at checkout. Two people can’t buy the last slot.
• Real capacity. Capacity per slot, or per resource. Overlapping multi-day stays are counted correctly (a hotel with 3 rooms stays a hotel with 3 rooms).
• Hourly rentals that run overnight. A kayak or a trailer can go out at 2 PM and come back two days later: pickup and return fall inside your opening hours, closed days in between don’t count, and the item stays booked the whole time.
• Multi-day and multi-night. Start and end dates with a check-in / check-out label, minimum and maximum lengths, a buffer day for cleaning.
• People count. Minimum and maximum, optionally each person takes a seat, optionally the price is per person.
• Resources. Rooms, staff, boats, bikes. Each has its own capacity and can have its own hours. A resource shared by several products can’t be booked twice.
• Buffers before and after every booking, in minutes or days.
• Hours that make sense. Weekly opening hours with gaps, date overrides for holidays and special days. Later rules win. Nothing hidden.
• Minimum notice and maximum advance.
• One calendar for everything. A [beacon_bookings_calendar] shortcode and a block show which products are free on which day.
• Reporting-friendly list. Filter bookings by status, product and date; confirm, mark paid, complete or cancel in one click; bulk actions.
• Emails that arrive. Confirmed, received, cancelled, reminder (customer) and new booking (you), all editable under WooCommerce → Emails. Confirmations carry an .ics file.
• Calendar feeds. Subscribe to all bookings, one product or one resource from Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook.
• Customers can cancel from My Account, within a notice period you set. The slot frees up; refunds stay your call.
• Manual bookings and blocked time from Bookings → Add Booking.
• Clean uninstall when you ask for it.
• Works with the classic and the block checkout, and with high-performance order storage.

Beacon Bookings is free, with no add-ons required for any of the above.
