A simple and easy way to control which pages your widgets appear. You can show or hide a widget on the front page, 404 page, search page, archive page, categories, authors, tags, or any other WordPress page.

Install via WordPress Admin

  1. Ready the zip file of the plugin
  2. Go to Admin > Plugins > Add New
  3. On the upper portion click the Upload link
  4. Using the file upload field, upload the plugin zip file here and activate the plugin

Install via FTP

  1. First unzip the plugin file
  2. Using FTP go to your server’s wp-content/plugins directory
  3. Upload the unzipped plugin here
  4. Once finished, login into your WP Admin and go to Admin > Plugins
  5. Look for the plugin and activate it

Usage

  1. Go to Admin > Appearance > Widgets.
  2. Select a widget to edit.
  3. In the dropdown box, select if you want to Show or Hide this widget.
  4. Using the checkboxes, check the pages where you want the widget to show up (or be hidden).
  5. Save the widget.

It is a great alternative to other widget visibility plugins, some of which can create massive performance issues on sites with thousands of users. Would be nice to see some updates, at least bumping the "tested up to". Seems to work just fine, and been using it for a couple years.
