Meow Lightbox

Responsive Lightbox designed for photography which can also displays EXIF data. This lightbox is highly optimized and designed to be very fast and elegant. You will love it! Here are the main features:

  • Responsive Layout. Looks great on mobile, tablets and bigger screens.
  • Responsive Images. Image resolution itself will adapt to the screen and device.
  • Display Image / EXIF information. Shutter speed, aperture, camera, lens.

What about checking a few examples? Have a look at those:
– With a Gallery: Nara Dreamland
– Single Photos: Best Abandoned Places in Japan

By default, the selector is set for the classes ‘.entry-content, .gallery, .mgl-gallery’. If you need the Lightbox to be active for more selectors, you will need to update the settings. The plugin will apply the lightbox for images contained by the selector.

We believe that choice of the gallery system depends on you. We however recommend you to use the Meow Gallery.

For more information, please check the official page.

Review of the Meow Lightbox I recently had the pleasure of using the Meow Lightbox, and I must say, it has been an exceptionally delightful experience. This innovative tool has truly transformed how I engage with digital media, making every interaction more enjoyable and efficient. From its sleek design to its user-friendly interface, the Meow Lightbox stands out in a crowded market of digital tools. Its responsive design ensures that it is compatible with various devices, a major plus for users who switch between gadgets frequently. The high-resolution display enhances visuals, making every image vibrant and clear, which is crucial for graphic-intensive tasks. One of the Meow Lightbox’s standout features is its speed and reliability. Loading images and transitioning between files is incredibly smooth, with no lag, which boosts productivity and streamlines workflow. Additionally, the customizable settings allow for a personalized experience, catering to the user’s specific needs and preferences. The Meow Lightbox also scores high on customer support. The team behind this tool is always ready to help, with quick responses and effective solutions, enhancing the overall user satisfaction. In conclusion, the Meow Lightbox is a top-notch product that delivers on its promises. Whether you’re a professional looking for an efficient imaging solution or a casual user in search of a reliable digital tool, the Meow Lightbox is a great investment that won’t disappoint. Its combination of aesthetic appeal, functionality, and excellent customer service makes it a standout choice.
I’ve tried a few galleries and lightboxes, most try to do things in their own way. Meow plugins ‘fit’ much better with wordpress, look great and the developers are very responsive for issues. I’ve been using it for years and will happily keep doing so.
I tried several other plugins before I found Meow Lightbox. This one was by far the best one for my needs. The masonry view was superior to every other plugin I tried!
There are a lot of lightbox plugins. As a photographer hosting and developing my own site, I’ve tried many of them. Many of them are good in some ways, but really miss the mark on others. This one brings the right balance of attractive UI and functionality. It’s a plugin I enjoy implementing as an admin and also seeing the results as a user.
Finally some plugin (I tried tons) which is working with wordpress default gallery. Works perfectly (using oxygen builder). Highly recommend.
